Episode 11: Is culture a trigger word? From corporate kitchens and managerial leadership to personal brands and intuitive leadership w/ Jordan Godard

“Do you think culture is a trigger word?”

*giggle*

Not all networking calls are smash hits.

Sometimes you meet people whom you’re happy you met, but never want to hang out with again. And sometimes you meet people that you could talk to for hours and never get bored. That’s my new friend Jordan Godard.

He’s a corporate chef, turned kitchen ‘night coach’, turned kitchen manager, turned solo coach and entrepreneur.

Jordan and I dive into antiquated leadership. Discuss culture as a sales trigger word. I, for one, am tired of the word culture being thrown around like cheap confetti. Pop off ideas that’ll hopefully spark more visionaries to make culture changes in all their businesses (from solopreneurs qualifying clients to corporate managers running teams of 100), and even dive into the difference between intuitive and managerial leadership styles.

Jordan uses his culinary expertise to bring a fresh perspective to the coaching space. His experience in kitchens and story makes this episode worth the listen even for nothing more than inspiration as to how quickly things can change for you if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other. When you create something amazing in one industry or in one career position, you can replicate it in another.

Pop it into your ears on your next embodiment walk. We’ll be there to meet you.
